Home remedies to get black hair
The secret of getting natural black hair is held in nature and natural home-based products without any side effects.
Black tea
Applying black tea to your grey hair can make hair black gradually. It also helps in increasing the volume of hair and makes hair shinier. Use the black tea mask twice a week and avoid using a shampoo after it, for effective results.
Butter and Mulethi
This is more akin to a natural “deep-conditioning” procedure that would be quite beneficial for frizzy and dry hair. The hair becomes thick, glossy, and radiant when mulethi is used. You’ll need these items to make the hair mask:
Ghee, 1 kilogram (preferably home-made)
a litre of amla juice or extract
Mulethi 200gm
Combine all the ingredients, then heat on a low burner. Pour the remaining mixture into a clean glass container and let it cool after the mixture’s water content has fully evaporated. Just before you take a shower, use this “colour-rejuvenating” hair mask, and you’ll be surprised to see your hair’s original black colour return. Making your hair jet black is a fantastic alternative to the hair colours that are sold in stores.
Coconut oil
Every other day, before bed, massage coconut oil onto your hair and scalp. The next morning, wash your hair as usual.
Amla
Amla is great for hair and has proven to be even more beneficial when you use it as dye paste. You can mix amla juice with henna and apply it on your hair. amla gives hair sufficient strength and helps the scalp redeem its lost moisture. Henna’s anti-bacterial and antifungal properties help in maintaining pH level of scalp. Combination of amla and henna is probably the best home remedy to cure greyness. Apply the pack once in a month for effective results.
Almond oil and lemon juice
Mix almond oil and lemon juice in the ratio of 2:3. Massage well in the scalp and hair. Wash off after 30 minutes.
Almond oil has Vitamin E which is extremely beneficial for hair. It nourishes the roots and prevents premature greying. Lemon juice not only adds gloss and volume to hair but also promotes healthy hair growth. Almond oil and lemon juice are both easily-available ingredients that can help you get rid of grey hair naturally.
Mango
Mangoes are the main fruit of the summer in India. Everything is mangoβmango cocktails, mango milkshakes, mango pickles, mango chutneys, etc. Now that you have black hair, you can put some age-defying magic on it by grabbing a few fresh mangos. You’ll need the following for this Hair-pack:
1 or 2 raw mangoes
Fresh mango leaves in a bunch Hair oil
Then, gradually incorporating your preferred hair oil, combine all the components and mash them into a fine pulp to create a paste. Now place this paste in a container under the sun for a couple of hours. Just before you take a shower, use this as a hair pack to achieve thick, black hair.
Henna and coffee
Add 1 tbsp of coffee powder to boiling hot water. Cool and make a paste with henna powder. Let it rest covered for a few hours. Mix in 1 tbsp of any oil of your choice and apply liberally covering the hair completely. Wash off after an hour.
Henna is a natural conditioner and a colourant and when combined with coffee, it gives excellent results. Henna is in fact an age-old home remedy to turn grey hair into black.
Potatoes
You may easily blacken your hair at home with a potato mask that works gradually but efficiently. It only takes a few minutes to boil a potato until the starch solution begins to form. Simply apply the liquid obtained from the potato peels after it has been strained to your hair. Use water to wash it off. The potato starch solution aids in restoring hair colour and halts greying.
