What matters is how you respond, not what occurs to you.
You may have recently lost your job.
How might you respond to it?
You may either accept that you have been given the chance to try something new and inspirational or
you’re just mourning about your lost job.
You may have recently diagnosed a new sickness.
How might you respond to it?
You may choose to accept this as an opportunity to take better care of yourself,
to value your health,
and to recognize what
and who are truly important in your life.
Or you can choose to spend your days wallowing in self pity about sadness.
Therefore, no matter what occurs to you, whether good or terrible, how you choose to respond determines whether it matters or not.
